We’re Bringing Some of Our Favorite NY Restaurants to One Place — and You’re Invited
If you’ve been following along, you know we spend a lot of time driving around New York State, eating at independently owned restaurants, and telling you about the ones worth your time. We’ve found a lot of them. So we figured — why not bring some of our favorites together, in one place, for one weekend?
That’s the Eat Local New York and Friends Food Festival. Mark your calendar for June 19th and 20th, noon to 10pm both days, at the Syracuse Inner Harbor.
Here’s What You’ll Find There
We’re talking well over 20 food vendors each day — Chocolate Taps, Easy Street Coffee, CrisPi Wings, Birria Quesa Tacos, CrisPi Tringale’s Italian Sausage, Brickyard BBQ, Glazed and Confused Donuts, Vietnamese Noodle House, Kiki’s Greek, Joy’s Sourdough, Syracuse Halal Gyro, Ruby’s Colombian, Logi Bears Food Truck, Skippy’s Novelty, Capone’s, Ashly Lynn Winery, Baked Potato Express, Saucy Sandwich, Bold Coast Lobster, Oompa Loompyas, Ruby’s Cheesesteaks, and more.
A few are stopping by for just one day — Smokin’ Pete’s BBQ on Saturday, and Hermit’s Food Truck and Edgemere Coffee on Friday.
But it’s not just about the food.
There’s live music both nights, a big screen so you won’t miss the soccer matches and craft vendors and local makers with goods worth browsing.
If you’re bringing the kids, there’s good news. Kids 12 and under get in free, and on Friday from 12–3pm, there’s a full lineup just for them — Buddy the Clown, Jeff the Magic Man (1–3pm), games, and face painting.
Tickets
Advance tickets are $7. At the door, they’re $10. A portion of all ticket sales supports Clear Path for Veterans — so you’re backing local food and a great cause at the same time.

This is the kind of thing we’ve wanted to do for a while. Good food has a way of bringing people together, and we figured what better way to share some of the best eats in New York than to get them all in one place, for one weekend.
